Everyday Sites

This photo project focuses on capturing ordinary lives, spaces, and realities. These photo collections highlight ordinary environments that carry traces of culture, community, history, and the social and political forces that shape them.

Through photography, I capture my observations of the overlooked as a method of recognizing the beauty within everyday life. The project considers cities and places as museums of history, one that reveals itself through architecture, food, objects, and institutions. These details can act as cultural artifacts, revealing the traditions, values, experiences, and histories of the communities that created them.

The images are grouped by location to showcase the characteristics and culture of each place.
